History

Wayne Ellington founded the Manchester Sing Out Choir in 2006. Established through his 'Sing Out Project' in London 2001, Wayne brought his ideas and skills when he moved to Manchester in 2002.

'Manchester Sing Out Choir' transitioned to Manchester Inspirational Voices towards the choir's 10th Anniversary in 2016 and relaunched in celebration of our new name.

Wayne's unquestionable gift and vision is shared around the UK and Europe through his passion for gospel and all kind of inspirational music.

His vision to introduce/ reintroduce faith through gospel and inspirational singing, is uplifting and enriching to individuals who have a desire to promote positive spiritual attributes.

The unity of the choir presents a great sense of friendship and excitement. Their performances are moving and passionate. Their voices and astounding musical arrangements on original and cover songs truly reflect the vision of hope throughout our communities.

Manchester Inspirational Voices attracts people from Bolton, Warrington, Stockport, Denton, Rochdale, Old Trafford, Chorlton, Didsbury, Salford, Trafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Ashton-under-Lyne, Reddish, Oldham, Moss Side, Hulme, Whitefields, Wythenshawe, Timperly, Altrincham, Macclesfield and you name it.
